Welcome to NAS North Island! Located at the north end of the Coronado Peninsula in San Diego Bay, NAS North Island is home to several Navy aircraft carriers, including the USSKarl Vinson, UssAbraham Lincoln, and USSMiguel Keith(ESB-5). Naval Station North Island is part of Naval Base Coronado - the US Navy's largest aerospace industrial complex.

NAS North Island is home to several leaseholder commands and squadrons. The base is home to approximately 35,000 active duty military personnel, select reserve military and civilian personnel. Sailors reporting to NAS North Island for processing should report to their assigned command. Personnel stationed on NAS North Island report to the main gate, also known as Gate 1, located at the intersection of Third and Alameda Blvd.
